Proof of address service

Establish users’ true location

Fully-Verified offers a real-time address verification service within our Live-Verify service.

Proof of address confirms that the address stated for the verification purposes
is actually a residence address and ties the user to a specific location.

Why Require A Proof Of Address?

To minimize the risk of fraud during the onboarding process and comply with the Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering rules. The procedure further ensures that users are who they say they are. Additionally, it helps spot users from a high-risk country who usually would not be eligible to create an account

Comply with KYC and AML regulations, check high-risk users and perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for PEPs.

Geographic restrictions

Ensure users are not from a high-risk country or restricted area by law or company policies.

Fraud prevention

Reduce the chances of fraudulent transactions and identity fraud.

How Does Online Address Verification Procedure Work?

A user enters the address in the form before connecting with an operator

User shows printed document to the verification specialist during live-verify video connection

The verification specialist takes pictures of the document

Mandatory checks are performed, and the operator ensures that the address matches the one provided in the form

After the verification process is completed successfully, the user is onboarded to the client service

What Do We Check?

Is the full name of the user mentioned in the address?

Is the full address displayed and does it match the one in the form?

Is the document not older than the required date?

Is the document type accepted by the client?

Is the document fully visible?

Is the document genuine?
